We provide the community with…
Capacity building is ensuring that people with disabilities have the skills, resources and confidence they need to participate in the community and have access to the same kind of opportunities or services as other people.
Develop new forms of support and skill that build independence and a happy, contented life! Capacity building is not a goal in itself – it is an approach that empowers individuals to access and create a life that is meaningful to them now and into the future.
People with disability and their families can access a range of professional therapy services that are funded by NDIS. These therapies include:
- occupational therapy
- social work
- speech pathology
Meal Preparation is about general health and wellbeing. Take the trouble out of healthy eating by making everything from cooking to cleaning as easy as possible.
Some people may only require a bit of help doing the shopping and cleaning, while others may need assistance with cooking and eating. In any scenario, we can provide a service designed to take the stress out of meal preparation and allow you to focus on enjoying your food.
This is covered in more detail on our Support Coordination page.
If you are unable to tackle domestic tasks, we can help with a number of general services, including but not limited to:
- Shopping for food or other household items
Depending on your needs, we can set up a weekly clean, come for a few weeks while you are feeling particularly unwell, or help with annual spring deep-cleaning.
We will be there, coaching you into your career, from start to finish. We are here to listen, talk about your needs and help you identify your work and life goals. Together, we will create a sustainable plan to get you where you want to be!
We enable people with a disability to participate in activities ranging from recreation and leisure through to new learning and training opportunities.
We can provide:
- Lawn mowing
- Lawn edging
- Rubbish Removal
- And more!
Supervised visitation allows parents/carers in high conflict or high risk situations access to their loved ones in a safe and supervised environment.
If you find it difficult to get ready for the day or move around your home because of a disability, we can assist with our in-home personal care services.
We can help with various personal needs, such as dressing, showering, hygiene, eating meals and more.
Have we not covered your needs?
That doesn’t mean we can’t…we simply probably haven’t thought of it, yet!

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the NDIS?
The NDIS works with people individually and recognises that people have different needs and goals. It gives people choice about the support they need to live the life they want.
If someone has a significant and permanent disability or developmental delay, the NDIS helps them get services and support in their community. It also gives funding for support like early intervention therapies or one-off items like wheelchairs or communication devices.
The NDIS is run by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA).
What support is available via NDIS Funding?
For a support to be deemed ‘reasonable and necessary’ it must:
- Be related to the participant’s disability
- Be likely to be effective and beneficial to the participant
- Take into account informal supports provided by families, carers and the community
What is not included under NDIS Funding?
Is a Plan Manager the same as a Support Coordinator?
As a participant’s confidence and capacity to implement their plan increases, funding for support coordination may decrease.
A Plan Manager’s role is to manage and monitor plan funding and submit claims to the NDIA on behalf of a participant’s providers.
